Abstract

Background: Service quality is an indicator of the health services quality because it is one of the determinants of the health service agencies image. The satisfication of patients is a level of their feeling that arises from the health service obtained after they assessed what is expected.

Research Objectives: To know the relationship between the quality of nursing services and patients during the COVID-19 pandemic at Prambanan Hospital Yogyakarta.

Research Methods: This type of research is a non-experimental quantitative research. The used design is Cross Sectional. The population in this research were all patients at Prambanan Hospital Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The total population is all patients who are hospitalized. The sample is 68 respondents. The data collection tool uses a data analysis questionnaire using Spearman Rank.

Research Results: The results showed that the quality of nursing services with patient satisfaction obtained a significance value (p = 0.009 < 0.01) so the hypothesis was accepted that there was a relationship between the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction at Prambanan Hospital by a Correlation Coefficient of 0.313, which means that there is a fairly high close relationship between variables of nursing service quality and patient satisfaction

Conclusion: There is a relationship between nursing service quality and patient satisfaction at Prambanan Hospital Yogyakarta.
