PENGARUH EDUKASI HEALTH COACHING TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEPATUHAN BEROBAT PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI RUMAH SAKIT PARU RESPIRA YOGYAKARTA

Background: The failure of pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers in treatment is caused by many factors, such as drugs, disease and the patient itself (not obeying to the treatment process). So, it takes a method of education and training in overcoming non-compliance with pulmonary tuberculosis patients in undergoing treatment. Many educational methods have been applied, in this research using health coaching education methods.

Research objective: To identify the effects of providing health coaching education in improving treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Respira Pulmonary Hospital Yogyakarta.

Methods: This study is a quantitative study with a one-group pre-post test design. The population in this study were patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who did not obey to treatment. The sampling were 23 people. The data collection instrument was by observing the TB 01 sheet and testing the analysis using the Wilcoxon signed rank test

Conclusion: Treatment obedience to pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Respira Yogyakarta Lung Hospital has increased significantly after receiving health coaching education
