HUBUNGAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK PERAWAT DENGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN DI RUANG RAWAT INAP INTERNA KELAS III RSUD PANEMBAHAN SENOPATI BANTUL

Background: Communication is an integral part of human life is no exception. A nurse profession that is always in touch with clients, families and other health workers. In every nursing action, nurses communicate so that good and effective communication is the key for nurses in carrying out their roles and functions.

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and the level of patient satisfaction in class III internal inpatient room at Panembahan Senopati Regional General Hospital, Bantul.

Methods: This study was a descriptive correlational study using a cross sectional design. The population in this study were class III internal inpatients at the Panembahan Senopati Regional General Hospital, Bantul. The technique used in sampling was stratified proportional random with a total of 63 people. The data collection tool used a questionnaire and data analysis used the rank spearman.

Conclusion: There is a relationship between the therapeutic communication of nurses and the level of patient satisfaction in the class III internal inpatient room at Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul.
