HUBUNGAN GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA RUANG DENGAN PENERAPAN SUB SISTEM MPKP DI RSUD SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2020

Background: Professional Nursing Practice Model is a primary nursing method that regulates nurses in providing professional nursing care. The application of MPKP is expected to increase patient satisfaction. The implementation of MPKP requires the role of the leader (head of the room) as the manager of the organization in the treatment room. The behavior of the leader will be reflected in his leadership style that emerged at the time of leading his subordinates. The leadership style provided by the head of the room has a positive impact that can be felt by the nurses below so as to improve the performance of nurses and can improve the quality and quality of service. Research Objective: To determinen the relationship of leadership style with the application of MPKP sub-system at Sleman Hospital in 2020. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative research with the design of correlation research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 151 nurses. Sampling technique using propotional random sampling so that the research sample as many as 67 nurses, data analysis using Chi Square. Result: The most leadership styles are democratic (68.7%), the most MPKP applications are good categories (76.1%). Chi Square correlation test results that there is a relationship of leadership style with the application of MPKP sub-system in Sleman Hospital Yogyakarta in 2020 with a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05) Conclusion: There is a leadership style relationship with the implementation of mpkp sub-system at Sleman Hospital Yogyakarta in 2020.
