PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG MENOPAUSE TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN MENGHADAPI MENOPAUSE DI DUSUN GLENDONGAN CATURTUNGGAL, DEPOK, SLEMAN

Background: Menopause is the phase of menstrual cessatia or menstrual bleeding of a woman. A person going through menopause will experience physical or psychological changes. Symptoms and psychological signs of pre-menopausal syndrome are anxiety. Factors that influence anxiety in dealing with menopause such as the level of knowledge. One of the efforts to increase knowledge is by providing health education. Research Objective: To determine the effect of health education on menopause on women’s anxiety facing menopause in Glendongan Caturtunggal Depok Sleman. Research Method: The design in this study used a pre-experimental using one group pretest and posttest approach, with the population sample in this study were 118 women. The sampling techniques was proportional random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 43 people, and the data were analysis using Paired T-Test. Result: The results found a pre-anxiety level of 300.26 and a postemergency rate of 187.72. Paired T-Test results obtained p value of 0.000 (<0.05) which means Hα received and H0 rejected. Conclusion: There is the effect of health education about menopause on women's anxiety facing menopause in Glendongan Caturtunggal Depok Sleman.
