FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI PADA LANSIA (Literatur Riview)

Background: Hypertension is an abnormal increase in blood pressure in the arteries continuously over a period, causing the arterioles to contract, making it difficult for blood to flow and increasing pressure against the artery walls. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia based on measurement of blood pressure in people aged 18 years and over in a number of areas has reached 31.7 people. Based on the health profile of Sleman Regency in 2018, hypertension is one of the top ten diseases in Sleman Regency, namely 66,616 cases. Most of them were in the area of Puskesmas Pakem with 5,320 cases or 34.92%.
Research objective: to determine the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly
Research Methods: literature study or literature review with a search strategy using search engine schoolar with keywords: factors related to the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. (Incidence of hypertension, source year taken from 2017-2020)
Results: Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is obtained from 20 research journals that have been reviewed by researchers showing that there is a significant influence between, age, gender, education level, occupation, lifestyle, genetics, on the incidence of hypertension. Conclusion: Based on the results of the literature review of factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly, using 20 journals that have been conducted, it can be concluded that there are 6 of them: age, gender, occupational education level, lifestyle, genetics, literature review results. Factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly can be seen from 20 research literature journals.
