HUBUNGAN PENDIDIKAN DAN PELATIHAN DENGAN PENDOKUMENTASIAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN DI RUANG RAWAT INAP NUSA INDAH RSUD PANEMBAHAN SENOPATI BANTUL

Background: Quality nursing care is a challenge. Nursing is a complex profession. Nurses have responsibility and accountability for nursingservices. Nursing documentation serves as a communication instrument. Research by the Nursing Directorate of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia with WHO (2000) in East Kalimantan, North Sumatra, North Sulawesi, West Java and DKI found 70% of nurses, in the last 3 years had never attended training, 39.8% performed cleaning tasks, 47, 4% do not have job descriptions and performance monitoring and evaluation have not been developed (Tussaleha and Kadrianti, 2014). The results of the preliminary study, as many as 22 people: 1 SPK education, 15 Diploma III of Nursing, and 6 Bachelor of Nursing with the profession of Nurse. 10 people attended the standard nursing care education and training.
Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between education and training and documentation of nursing care in the Nusa Indah Inpatient Room at Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul.
Rasearch Methods: This research is a non-experimental quantitative study, using descriptive analytic, total sampling of 22 people, with a correlation test. The research data is from primary data and the data collection process uses questionnaires and medical record observation sheets.
Results: The results of the chi-square test showed that Kendall's tau correlation value was 0.642 with a significance value of 0.003. Because the significance value obtained is smaller than 0.05 (p <0.05).
Conclusion: There is a relationship between education and training and documentation of nursing care
