Abstract

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). Furthermore, on March 11, 2020, WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new type of disease that has never been previously identified in humans. The virus that causes COVID-19 is called Sars-CoV-2. COVID-19 is transmitted through droplets that come from the mouth, nose of the sufferer when coughing, sneezing or talking to people around him.
Objective: To analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards selfisolation compliance in patients with confirmed COVID-19 family clusters in the working area of the Ngemplak II Public Health Center during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods : This research is an analytical research study with a cross sectional research design with Total Sampling. The data taken is primary data obtained directly from research subjects by looking at the level of knowledge, attitudes, and self-isolation compliance. Results: Univariate analysis showed that the majority of 62 respondents had sufficient to good knowledge, namely 53 people (85%) and the rest had poor knowledge, namely 9 (15%). Based on the attitude of the majority of respondents have a good attitude that is 60 people (97%) and the rest are not good that is as much as 2 people (3%). Meanwhile, for the level of self-isolation compliance, it was found that the majority of respondents had a good level of compliance, namely 42 respondents (68%) and the rest had poor compliance as many as 20 people (32%). Bivariate analysis showed p values = 0.011 and p = 0.037 (p 0.05) which means that there is a significant relationship between the level of attitude knowledge and self-isolation compliance in COVID-19 confirmed patients in the family cluster in the Ngemplak II Public Health Center area.
Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of attitudes and adherence to self-isolation in confirmed COVID-19 patients in the family cluster in the Ngemplak II Health Center area
