HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN MENGHADAPI PERSIAPAN UJIAN DENGAN SIKLUS MENSTRUASI PADA REMAJA PUTRI KELAS X-XI DI SMA SANTA MARIA YOGYAKARTA

Background Rear: time Adolescence is a transition period that connects childhood to adulthood, physical changes are seen in young women who are experiencing the menstrual cycle, one of the causes of menstrual cycle disorders is psychological factors such as anxiety.KAnxiety in adolescents is characterized by the emergence of anxiety,Kwhen emotionalnegativearise due to fear of unforeseen dangers that may occur in the future

Research purposes: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety in facing exam preparation and the menstrual cycle in adolescent girls in class X-XI at SMA Santa Maria Yogyakarta.

Method: This type of research is a quantitative research approachcross sectional. The population in this study were teenagersPrincessat Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta.By using tsampling techniqueproporsional random sampling, a sample of 56 people. Data collection tools using questionnaires and data analysisconducted uji spearman rank.

Research result: The level of anxiety with the menstrual cycle of female adolescents at Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta in the moderate category was 46.4% (26 people). This shows that there is a fairly strong relationship with a significance value of 0.000 orwithp value 0,05 karena nilai signifikansi < 0,05 and valuethe correlation coefficient is rcount– 0.474 the relationship pattern shows a positive sign, which means that the higher the level of anxiety, the higher the menstrual cycle experienced by young women at Santa Maria High School.

Conclusion: There is an emergency level relationship withmenstrual cycleonstudents of class X-XI at Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta.
