EVALUASI KINERJA REKAM MEDIS ELEKTRONIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE PIECES DI PUSKESMAS TEMPEL I SLEMAN

Background: The application of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) in Puskesmas aims to improve the performance of puskesmas. Puskesmas Tempel I has been using EMR in outpatient units since 2018. The implementation of EMR in Puskesmas Tempel I still has shortcomings and causes problems. Electronic Medical Records need to be evaluated so that the EMR can be developed according to the needs of health services. Electronic medical record could be evaluated by PIECES method.

Purpose: To know the performance of electronic medical records using the PIECES method at Puskesmas Tempel I.

Research methods: This research was conducted at Puskesmas Tempel I Sleman. This type of research uses a descriptive quantitative method with a case study design. The study sample was 35 EMR users (total sampling). Data analysis in the study used descriptive analysis.

Results: In the performance aspect, EMR is in the reliable category (60%), the information aspect is in the fairly good category (65.7%), the economic aspect is in the fairly economical category (85.7%), the control aspect category is quite good (74.3%), the efficiency aspect of the category is quite efficient (60%) and the service aspect is quite good (80%).

Conclusions: Evaluation of EMR performance in Puskesmas Tempel I using the PIECES method falls into the sufficient category.
