Abstract
Background: The speed of service to patients and the length of time patients wait in obtaining services can affect patient satisfaction and service quality. Patient satisfaction is the level of one's feelings after comparing perceived performance with expectations, so the level of satisfaction is a function of the difference between perceived performance and expectations
Research Objectives: To know the relationship between waiting time for services and the level of satisfaction of BPJS Kesehatan patients at the Ngaglik 2 Public Health Center, Sleman.
Research Methods: This type of research is a quantitative analytical descriptive study with a cross sectional. The sample of this study was 80 respondents, the determination of the number of samples using the Literature Time Function was taken by the Accidental Purposive Sampling technique. The analysis used is onevariable analysis and two-variable analysis, used to describe the variable waiting time for service and patient satisfaction.
Results: The length of waiting time for services received from 80 respondents showed that 25.0% waiting time was not long and 75.0% waiting time was long. The satisfaction felt by the respondents after getting the service was found to be 35.0% satisfied and 65.0% dissatisfied. There is a relationship between service waiting time and BPJS Health patient satisfaction based on a correlation 0.726 and p value 0.000.
Conclusion: There is a strong relationship between waiting time for services and satisfaction of BPJS health patients at the Ngaglik 2 Public Health Center, Sleman.
