FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI STATUS GIZI BALITA DI DESA SUMBER SARI MOYUDAN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Background: At this time, toddlers need nutrients that are more in number and of good quality, but toddlers are easy to suffer from nutritional disorders and are prone to disease due to lack of the needed food. The causative factors that play a role in the emergence of malnutrition problems include infectious diseases suffered by toddlers, mother's education, exclusive breastfeeding

Purpose: This study was to determine the factors that influence the nutritional status of children under five in Sumber Sari Moyudan Village, Sleman Yogyakarta.

Methods: This type of research is quantitative using descriptive analytic method. The design or design used is cross sectional. The subjects of this study were toddlers aged 13-59 months in Sumber Sari Moyudan Village, Sleman Yogyakarta.

Results: The results of the study using the Kendall's tau test showed that there was a significant relationship between the mother's education level and the nutritional status of children under five with p = 0.048, while exclusive breastfeeding, infectious diseases, and family income had no relationship.

Conclusion: Based on the results of the Kendall's tau test analysis. There is a significant relationship between Mother's Education Level and Nutritional Status of toddlers with p-value = 0.048 in Sumbersari Moyudan Village, Sleman. There is a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of children under five with p-value = 0.062 in Sumbersari Moyudan Village, Sleman. There is no significant relationship between infectious diarrheal disease p-value = 0.833 and ARI infection n p-value = 0.449 with nutritional status in Sumbersari Moyudan Village, Sleman. There is no significant relationship between family income and nutritional status of children under five with p-value =0.503 in Sumbersari Moyudan Village, Sleman.
