HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI PASIEN TENTANG PERILAKU CARING PERAWAT DENGAN MUTU PELAYANAN DI RUANG HEMODIALISA RS BHAYANGKARA POLDA DIY

Background: Caring behavior of nurses is a caring attitude towards patients by paying attention to the patient's needs. Nurse caring behavior is important because it can improve the patient's health status, socially and psychologically, interpersonal relationships between nurses and patients are established. A nurse must have knowledge in carrying out nursing actions and a good attitude about caring. The results of interviews with 5 patients at the study site found that there were nurses in conveying information to patients that was less clear, less subtle and the response in responding to patient complaints was not fast

Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between patient's perception of the caring behavior of nurses and the quality of service in the Hemodialysis Room at Bhayangkara Hospital Polda DIY

Research Methods: This research method is descriptive correlation. The population in this study were 18 patients who underwent hemodialysis routinely at Bhayangkara Polda Yogyakarta Hospital. The sampling technique used was the total population. Data analysis using Pearson product moment test.

Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between caring behavior and service quality in the Hemodialysis Room at Bhayangkara Hospital Polda DIY
